Cameroon vs Dominican | Highlights | Women’s Volleyball Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2019

Uberlandia, Brazil, August 2, 2019 – The Dominican Republic claimed a straight-set victory over Cameroon setting up a head-to-head against Brazil on Saturday for one ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Niverka Marte (Dominican Republic setter): “I’m happy that we won today, but I think tomorrow will be a difficult game. Brazil is a strong team. We have good memories from the Volleyball Nations League but it doesn’t mean anything. It will be a new game, a new story.”

Ezssi Emelda Piata (Cameroon middle blocker): “This game was quiet affortable but we didn’t do our best. Now is time to think about the next game and try to finish the competition in a good way.”
